Bhubaneswar: On the occasion of World Hand Hygiene Day today, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik appealed everyone to wash hands frequently and follow strict sanitation protocols for the well-being of all.
Hands are one of the most common ways through which COVID-19 virus spreads from one person to other, the CM said.

Celebrated every year on 5 May, Hand Hygiene Day mobilizes people around the world to increase adherence to hand hygiene in health care facilities, thus protecting health care workers and patients from infections.
