Naveen Chairs BJD Parliamentary Party Meeting Ahead of Budget Session, Asks MPs to Raise Issues Concerning Odisha
Bhubaneswar: BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik today chaired the Parliamentary Party meeting of the Biju Janata Dal ahead of Budget Session of the Parliament.
Naveen urged his party MPs to raise a range of issues pertaining to the development of Odisha in the Parliament.
The meeting was convened to chalk out strategies of the Odisha’s ruling party for the upcoming Budget Session of the Parliament, which will commence from January 29.
The BJD MPs will raise the issue of MSP, GST, Special Category Status for Odisha and revision of coal royalty.
Besides, they will also highlight the Mahanadi issue, women empowerment and setting up international airport at Puri among others.
