Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who always maintains a very low profile in public life, has set yet another inspiring example on Friday by wearing seat belt while travelling in a vehicle.
A picture of Odisha CM sitting in his official vehicle with belt fastened has surfaced on the social media. The picture was seemingly captured when Naveen was on his way to Lok Seva Bhawan here.
Through this simple act, Naveen has not only shown his respect to the law, but also spread the awareness on road safety in the backdrop of new Motor Vehicle Act that has been implemented in Odisha from September 1.
This is not the first time that Odisha’s longest serving Chief Minister set example by showing his adherence to the rule of law.
In the recently concluded election season, Naveen was in news when he extended full cooperation to Election Commission’s flying squad to check his chopper in Rourkela when the squad sought for the same.
