Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday inaugurated a new convention centre on the premises of Lokseva Bhavan here.
The convention centre built over two floors has state-of-art facilities, such as main hall of about 400 seating capacity, which is equipped with video wall displays and sound system with line array speakers.
Besides the main hall, the new centre has a banquet hall of about 80 to 90 seating capacity, break out space of about 60 seating capacity, well-furnished VIP lounge are also there on the ground floor.
The first floor has a 100 seater conference hall, two Mini Conference halls of 30 and 15 seating capacities and a food plaza of 100 seating capacity.
The convention centre apart from being eco-friendly has the facility to run on solar power.
The convention hall is built on 5,180 sq m at a cost of Rs 40 crore.
