Bhubaneswar: BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik has thanked the people of Pipli for extending support to the party candidate Rudrapratap Maharathy in the by-election.
Naveen also expressed his gratitude to the party workers and leaders for the BJD’s victory.

BJD candidate Rudra Maharathy won the by-election by securing 96,392 votes against BJP’s Ashrit Pattanayak with 76,056 votes.
Congress candidate Bishwokeshan Harichandan Mohapatra was placed in third position with only 4,237 votes.
