Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will launch a special Covid-19 assistance for the landless farmers of the state today. As part of the Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation (KALIA) Yojana, about 18 lakh landless farmers will get benefits of 386 Crore rupees.
The assistance will help the landless farmers to sustain their livelihood during these difficult times of pandemic. This timely assistance will also help in their farming activity that is continuing since the arrival of the monsoon.
