Bhubaneswar: Sonny Mehta, Brother-in –Law of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has passed away. Sonny, husband of Geeta Mehta is an established Editor and was the Editor in Chief of Alfred A. Knopf Publishing house based out of New York. Born in 1942, Sonny is the son of Amrik Singh Mehta, former diplomat.
Condoling the death of Sonny, Naveen said “I am deeply grieved by the passing away of my brother in law Sonny Mehta ( Husband of my sister Gita Mehta). He was one of the world’s best editors and an extremely civilized person. May his soul rest in peace.”
