Berhampur: At least eight people have lost their lives and 40 others got injured when a bus fell off from a bridge on the Taptapani Ghati in Odisha’s Ganjam District.
The accident took place early morning at around 3 AM and most of the travelers were sleeping. The Bus was going to Berhampur from Tikiri.
While fire and ambulance involved in rescue operations, the injured have been shifted to Digapahandi and Berhampur Hospitals. At present 37 injured persons are being treated at the Digapahandi medical and 14 seriously injured are being treated at the MKCG Medical College in Berhampur.
