Bhubaneswar: At least nine persons have been forced to send to the government-run shelter made for quarantine after they were caught violating shutdown restrictions in Bhadrak town today.
The people were moving on roads this morning when a shutdown is in force for contact tracing of corona positives.
In a similar incident, 13 persons have been sent to quarantine in the capital city Bhubaneswar.
The DCP said shutdown restrictions are also applicable to streets, sahis, bastis (slums) etc. It may be noted that a curfew like shutdown has been enforced in three cities, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Bhadrak in order to check community spreading of the deadly corona virus and to trace contacts of affected persons.
