Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has restricted Zero Night celebration in the city in view of COVID-19 pandemic.
This has been informed by BMC Commissioner Prem Chandra Chaudhary.
The BMC said that the current COVID-19 guidelines don’t allow any celebration on New Year’s eve.
Meanwhile, the civic body has allowed the reopening of the famous Lingaraj temple for the servitors and their family members from December 27, for residents of Bhubaneswar from January 3 to 5 and general public from January 6.
