Odisha: 35 IAS Officers Get Promotion

Bhubaneswar: Ahead of new year, the State Government has promoted as many as 35 IAS officers.

The 1990-batch IAS officer Sanjeev Chopra, who is now principal secretary to Government, Home Department has been elevated to Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department.

Similarly, IAS officers of 1996 batch Saswata Mishra, Vir Vikram Yadav, Vishal Kumar Dev have been promoted to Principal Secretary rank.

2005-batch IAS officers – Vineel Krishna, Ratnakar Rout, Dasarathi Satpathy, Prafulla Chandra Pradhan, Anjan Kumar Manik, Benudhar Behera, Suresh Chandra Dalai, Debendra Jena, have been promoted to the Super Time Scale grade.

Seven IAS officers of 2012-batch have been promomted to the Junior Administrative Grade. They are – Anupam Saha, Nikhil Pavan Kalyan, Manish Agarwal, Vineet Bhardwaj, Poma Tudu, Smruti Ranjan Pradhan and Siddhartha Das.

Similarly four 2017-batch IAS officers Anvesha Reddy, Patil Ashish Ishwar, Divakara TS and Hema Kanta Say have been promoted to Senior Time Scale grade, the GA Department notificaion stated.
