Bhubaneswar: Odisha and Chhattisgarh will hold an inter-state flood management meeting on August 6.
The officials of Water Resources Department from both the states will attend the meeting to be held in Raipur.
The authorities will discuss on water management of Mahanadi river, informed a Hirakud Dam official.
Besides, the two states will also discuss on sharing of data on rainfall, water level, inflow and outflow discharges of all the major and medium reservoirs.
The inter-state meeting is held every year to monitor the safety aspects of inter-state dams in Mahanadi basin.
