Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has condoled the demise of former attorney general and Padma Vibhushan recipient Soli Sorabjee, who passed away this morning.
“Deeply saddened to hear about passing away of distinguished lawyer, former attorney general and Padma Vibhushan recipient Soli Sorabjee. He was a legal luminary with widely acknowledged scholarship in Constitution Law. Heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and friends”, the Odisha Chief Minister tweeted.

Soli Sorabjee, one of India’s finest legal minds, died of Covid this morning. He was 91.
A senior lawyer and Padma Vibhushan recipient, Soli Sorabjee was being treated at a private hospital in Delhi.
Chief Justice of India NV Ramana paid tribute to Soli Sorabjee as his court assembled this morning.
