Odisha CM Condoles Demise of Former President Pranab Mukherjee
Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik condoled the demise of former President of India and Bharat Ratna Pranab Mukherjee, who passed away on Monday at the age of 84.
Taking to his twitter handle, the Odisha CM said, “Deeply saddened to know about the demise of former President #PranabMukherjee. #PranabDa was a prolific reader, powerful orator, scholar & had an unparalleled experience in governance. He will always be remembered for his exceptional ability to forge consensus on national issues”.

President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi also grieved the death of Mukherjee.
Pranab Mukherjee’s son Abhijit Mukherjee announced the former president’s demise on Twitter.
“With a Heavy Heart , this is to inform you that my father Shri #PranabMukherjee has just passed away inspite of the best efforts of Doctors of RR Hospital & prayers ,duas & prarthanas from people throughout India ! I thank all of You”, he wrote.
Pranab Mukherjee, who served as the 13th President of India from 2012 until 2017, passed away in the national capital today after battling illness for a long time.
