Odisha CM Grieves Demise of Renowned Literateur Ratnakar Chaini

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has condoled the death of renowned literateur Ratnakar Chaini, who passed away at his residence in Cuttack on Saturday.

The Chief Minister also conveyed his deep sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.

Chaini died at the age of 75.
He was famous for his literary works, such as Santha Kabi Achyutananda, Niraba Kolahala, Kabi Gopalkrushna, Asha Brundabana, Achyatananda Gitabali, Ajira Galpa and Kaha Lalita.

He was awarded with the Odisha Sahitya Akademi Award in 1977.
He was the former president of Sanskar Bharti and Utkal Sahitya Samaj.
