Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today launched a web portal ‘rebuild.odisha.gov.in’ developed for crowd funding for various projects in the post-cyclone phase as an innovative donation system for crowd sourcing cyclone rehabilitation contributions.
Through this portal, Departments will be able to elicit public donations for restoration and reconstruction of assets relating to sectors like Education, Anganwadi, Water supply in both urban and rural areas as well as other community infrastructure which were devastated by the extremely severe cyclone ‘Fani’ that require immediate funding, an official statement said.
Individuals, corporate houses. PSUs and organisations can contribute to project specific funding through this portal.
This Portal is meant for a wide campaign to raise contributions for rehabilitation and reconstruction activities to rebuild Odisha in the post Cyclone phase, the statement added.
