Odisha CM Setting a Great Example in Preventing Spread of COVID-19: PM Modi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today highly praised Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and said that the CM is setting a great example in preventing spread of COVID-19.

Referring to the Odisha CM’s registration of his sister’s details in the State Government’s COVID-19 portal, Modi tweeted, “Setting a great example, Chief Minister! I hope others also emulate Naveen Babu. We all can do our bit in preventing the spread of COVID-19”.

Notably, Naveen Patnaik registered his sister Gita Mehta’s details in the Government portal for persons coming from abroad and appealed all to register details about their family members and friends coming from abroad to help protect the State from Coronavirus.

Earlier this morning, Naveen, in a video message, also appealed everyone coming from abroad to mandatorily register themselves through toll free number-104 or online portal https://covid19.odisha.gov.in within 24 hours of arrival, to prevent spread of COVID19 in the State.
