Odisha CM to Announce Rs 352 Cr COVID-19 Assistance Package for MGNREGA Workers

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will announce a COVID assistance package of Rs 352 crore for the welfare of the MGNREGA workers who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The CM will provide the assistance package this evening, according to the Chief Minister’s Office.

Last month, the CM had provided a COVID assistance package worth Rs 1690.46 crore to support the livelihoods of landless farmers, construction workers, urban poor, Tribal peoples and state food security beneficiaries.
