Bhubaneswar: With focus on ‘test, track and treat’ strategy in its fight against coronavirus, Odisha has conducted as many as 58,813 COVID-19 tests in the last 24 hours, the State Health and Family Welfare Department informed on Saturday.
The tests included 50,013 Antigen tests, 8,678 RTPCR tests and 122 Truenat tests.
Ganjam district has tested maximum 11343 samples, followed by 7807 tests in Kendrapara district and 7177 tests in Keonjhar district.
Odisha has fared very well in its fight against coronavirus virus and become a role model for large states in COVID testing.
Odisha has been ranked second in the country for COVID-19 tests per day per million population, according to the recent Union Health Ministry data.
