Odisha Crime Branch Raids Gangster Tito’s House, Detains His Brothers, Relative

Kendrapara: The Odisha Crime Branch today raided the residence of arrested gangster Syed Usman Ali alias Tito at Dilarpur here and detained his two brothers and relative.

The Special Task Force (STF) of the Crime Branch carried the raid as part of an ongoing investigation against the gangster for his involvement in multiple illegal businesses.

Tito’s two brothers – G Babu and SK Jitu, who had been absconding for the last one year, and his relative were taken into custody for interrogation in connection with the gangster’s crime syndicate, reports said.

More than 30 criminal cases, including illegal sand mining and stone quarrying, are pending against the two brothers.

The STF had arrested Tito following an encounter in Chandikhole area of Jajpur district in June last year.

The dreaded criminal was shifted from Kendrapara Sub-Jail to Jharpara Jail in Bhubaneswar on April 19 ahead of elections in the district.
