Odisha: Factories & Boilers Chief Inspector Caught Red-handed by Vigilance Sleuths While Accepting Bribe
Bhubaneswar: The Vigilance sleuths today arrested Chief Inspector-Cum-I/c Director, Factories & Boilers, Odisha Satyanarayana Sethi while accepting bribe for issue of factory license.
As per sources, Satyanarayana Sethi was caught red-handed by the officers of vigilance, Bhubaneswar Division while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs. 50,000 from complainant Susanta Kumar Bihari for issue of factory license for the ongoing project of Panna Cement Industries Ltd., Gopalpur cement terminal project.
The bribe money has been recovered and seized from his pant pocket. His both hands wash as well as pant pocket wash gave positive chemical reaction, sources said.
The Bhubaneswar Vigilance has registered a case in this connection.
The residential house of Sethi is being searched, sources said.
