Odisha Finance Minister to Present Budget Today; Likely to Focus Fani Restoration Works, KALIA, Mission Shakti Programmes

Bhubaneswar: Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari will present the annual budget for 2019-20 financial year today.

This will be first full Budget of the Naveen Patnaik Government after it voted to power for fifth term.

Last week, the state Council of Ministers headed by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik approved an annual budget of more than Rs 1.38 lakh crore for the 2019-20 FY.

Government is likely to give priority to cyclone Fani restoration works, KALIA and Mission Shakti programmes in the annual budget.
