Odisha: First Promotion Adalat to Be Held in Last Week of This Month
Promotion Adalats will be held on 28th, 29th and 31st of January 2020 at six places in Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has directed to hold Promotion Adalats in the last week of January every year.
As per the directions, the aggrieved employees who were eligible for promotion as on 31st December of the previous year may submit their representation at gadmin.or@nic.in latest by January 23.
Accordingly this year, the Promotion Adalats will be held on 28th, 29th and 31st of January 2020 at six places in Bhubaneswar.
The Chief Secretary and ACSs of various administrative Departments will preside over the Adalats. The employees would need to be present themselves during the Promotion Adalats and cannot be represented by anyone else or the service association.
In case someone is eligible and due, and not promoted, then responsibility will be fixed on higher authority for lapses. It is expected that this transparent, time bound promotion will incentivize hard work and inspire Government employees to put their best, leading to better public service delivery which is the hallmark of 5-T in governance.
By this two stage process, the Government has streamlined and fixed time frame and responsibility in promotion process of Government employees.
The first promotion Adalat will be held in the last week of January 2020.
