Odisha Government to Form GP Level Committees to Keep Track of People Returning from Other States

Bhubaneswar: In yet another significant development, Odisha Government has decided to form a Gram Panchayat level committee headed by Sarpanch with five members to keep track on people returning from other states.

Panchayat Secretary, teachers and GRS will be there in the committee.

The Committee will also look after the temporary isolation centres,” informed the Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department Minister, Pratap Jena.

Meanwhile, the online registration for return of migrant labourers stranded in other states will begin tomorrow, he added.
