Bhubaneswar: In an important decision, the Odisha government today allowed opening up of restaurants and bars across the state. An order to this effect was today published by the Department of Tourism. “The restaurants and bars across Odisha are allowed to open for dining with strict adherence to the guidelines/SOP on preventive measures in restaurants to contain spread of Covid-19 issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.”, the order reads.
However, in case an area is declared as a containment zone, local authorities will take a decision on the operations of the restaurants and bars, until the containment is lifted.
