Odisha Govt Asks Telecom Service Providers to Disseminate Coronavirus Awareness Advisory

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has urged the Telecom Service Providers (TSPs) to disseminate the coronavirus advisory among the people through SMS and voice message.

As per the decision, the Health and Family Welfare Department will send the advisory materials in Odia and English to the nodal officer, office of the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC).

The materials will be sent to the nodal officers of the respective TSPs by the SRC for the dissemination of the same to their customers free of any charge.

The Department of Telecom (DoT) has asked telecom operators to put coronavirus awareness messages as a caller tune instead of the regular ringtone.
