Odisha Govt Nominates Arup Patnaik to Coordinate with Local Admin in Gujarat for Welfare of Stranded Odias

Bhubaneswar: In view of the countrywide lockdown, the Odisha Government has nominated Odisha-Mo Parivar Convenor Arup Mohan Patnaik as representative of the State Government to coordinate with the local administration in Gujarat regarding the welfare of the poor workers from Odisha stranded in Surat and other parts of Gujarat.

Arup Patnaik, former Commissioner of Mumbai Police, will be accompanied and assisted by Rakesh Sharma, former ACP, Maharashtra Police.

Odisha Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy has written a letter to the Chief Secretary of Gujarat about it.
