Odisha Govt Suspends Jharsuguda Municipality Executive Officer for Non-Performance

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has suspended Jharsuguda Municipality Executive Officer Rama Chandra Pradhan for non-performance, non-attainment of target and dereliction in duty.

The suspension order against Pradhan has been issued by the Housing and Urban Development Department.

The disciplinary proceeding against Pradhan was taken for disobedience of government orders, poor governance, non-performance, non-attainment of target and dereliction in Government duty, deliberate attempt not to implement government Orders, low performance in implementation of developmental works, the order stated.

The headquarters of Pradhan shall be the office of Sambalpur Municipal Commissioner and he shall not leave headquarters without obtaining prior permission of the competent authority during the period of suspension, it added.
