Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has decided to establish four commercial courts at Cuttack Sadar, Bhubaneswar, Berhampur and Sambalpur.
According a notification issued by the Law Department. the commercial courts will have extent of local limits of jurisdiction as mentioned below:
* Cuttack Sadar- Cuttack, Angul, Dhenkanal, and Jajpur.
* Bhubaneswar- Khordha.
* Berhampur: Ganjam, Kandhamal, Boudh and Gajapati.
* Sambalpur: Sambalpur, Bargarh, Deogarh and Jharsuguda.
The decision to set up the commercial courts has been taken on the recommendation and after consultation with the High Court of Orissa.
