Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government will appoint 11,450 teachers in three phases, informed School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash.
A notification in this regard will be issued on August 23, he said.
The State Government has decided to recruit as many as 2055 Hindi teachers, 1304 Sanskrit teachers and 1260 Physical Education Teachers (PET) in the first phase.
6065 TGT and Telgu teachers will be appointed in the second phase. Besides, 940 number of newly created teacher posts including TGT, Classical and Hindi teachers will be recruited soon, the Minister added.
