Bhubaneswar: The ministers in Odisha submitted their second monthly report cards to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at Lok Seva Bhawan here on Wednesday.
As per an earlier direction, the ministers are asked to submit report cards on steps being taken by their respective departments for implementing the ruling BJD’s manifesto to the Chief Minister by the seventh of every month.
All ministers including Transport Minister Padmanabh Behera, Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Minister Ranendra Pratap Swain, Health Minister Naba Kishore Das, Higher Education Minister Arun Sahoo, School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash and Law Minister Pratap Jena submitted their departments’ progress reports to the CM, sources said.
In the first council of ministers meeting on May 29, the Naveen Patnaik government had adopted the BJD’s election manifesto as the state government programme for the next five years.
