Bhubaneswar: Odisha Assembly Speaker Surjya Narayana Patro today urged the officers to remain present in the Assembly while matters pertaining to their departments are being discussed in the House.
The concerned officers are directed to remain present in the officer gallery while their important matters are discussed in the House, the Speaker said in a letter.
The Speaker has asked the Chief Secretary to ensure the presence of the concerned officers.
He also appealed the members of the Assembly to ensure smooth functioning of the House.
