Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Panchayat Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2021 was passed in the State Assembly today.
The amendment of Odisha Panchayat Laws is required to keep the electoral reservations within 50% in the panchayati raj institutions.
The Bill provides reservation ceiling at 50%.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Assembly passed the Odisha Municipal Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2021.
