Odisha Rajya Sabha Elections: Assembly Secy Dasarathi Satpathy Appointed as Returning Officer

Bhubaneswar: The Election Commission of India (ECI) today appointed Odisha Assembly Secretary Dasarathi Satpathy as the Returning Officer for Rajya Sabha elections scheduled on March 23.

Chief Electoral Officer (CEO Sushil Kumar Lohani has been posted as the Observer for the ensuing polls.

As per schedule, the last date of filing nominations is March 12, scrutiny of nominations will be on March 13 and the last date for withdrawal of candidatures is March 15.

The polling will start at 9 am and end at 4 pm while counting of votes and announcement of results will be made on March 23.

The poll process will be completed on March 26.
