Bhubaneswar: Odisha has achieved the milestone of conducting of over 2 million COVID-19 tests till date since the outbreak of pandemic in the State.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik expressed his happiness over the milestone stating that ramp up testing expeditiously has strengthened the Odisha’s fight against the virus.
Taking to Twitter, Naveen wrote, “Glad to share that we have reached 2 million COVID-19 test milestone. Thank everyone who worked tirelessly to scale up testing facilities in short time across Odisha and ramp up testing expeditiously, strengthening our fight against the pandemic”.

As instructed by the Chief Minister, Odisha is currently testing more than 50,000 samples daily for the detection and prevention of Coronavirus.
The State is targeting to further scale up the testing facilities to conduct at least one lakh samples daily.
