Bhubaneswar: Odisha has received a surplus of 6 percent rainfall this monsoon season till July 10, according to the Regional Centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar.
While, Jharsuguda has registered surplus of 50 percent rainfall, Puri district has recorded maximum deficit of 40% among all districts.
Some coastal districts have experienced ‘deficient’ rainfall, the center said.
