Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Legislative Assembly has been closed for a day on Friday after parents of an employee tested positive for COVID-19, said Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro.
The decision has been taken for disinfection of Assembly after parents of one employee tested positive for the virus.
The swab sample of the employee has been sent for test, the Speaker said.
The Assembly will also remain closed during the weekend shutdown in the city, he added.
