Bhubaneswar: Odisha has reported its highest single day spike of 10521 new COVID-19 cases.
According to the Information and Public Relations Department, Khordha district saw maximum number of 1477 cases in the last 24 hours, followed by Sundargarh (1186) and Cuttack (963).

As many as 48314 samples were tested in the State on Wednesday.
The COVID-19 caseload in the State surged to 500162 with 81585 active cases.
The death toll rose to 2121 after 17 patients succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours.
