Bhubaneswar: With 4237 new positive cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, Odisha’s tally of coronavirus infections rose to 192548 on Wednesday, said the Information and Public Relations Department.
While 2485 cases were reported in quarantine, 1752 are local contacts.
Of the new cases, highest number of 647 cases have been detected from Khordha district, followed by Cuttack (577), Puri (219), Jharsuguda (205), Jajpur (201), Jagatsinghpur (173) and Balasore (161) districts, the I&PR Department stated.
