Odisha Reports Biggest Single Day Spike of 561 COVID-19 Positive Cases, Tally Crosses 8000-Mark

Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 561 new cases of Coronavirus in the last 24 hours, the highest single day spike in the State.

According to the State Information and Public Relations Department, of the 561 cases, 425 cases have been detected from the quarantine centres and the rest 136 are the local contacts.

Ganjam district recorded the maximum 283 cases.

With this, the total number of cases reached 8106 including 2567 active cases.
