Odisha Reports Highest Ever Covid-19 CasesIn Single Day; Number Rises to 1948

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has reported its highest ever number of Covid-19 cases in a single day with 129 new positive cases. With this the totalnumber of cases in the state has risen to 1948. The number of active cases in the state has also risen to 889. The number of recovered people has also risen and stood at 1050 till 30th May 2020. Seven people have died in Odisha due to Covid-19 till date.

Of the 129 new Corona virus cases, 18 are from Kendrapara and 16 from Gajapati district. While Nuapada reported 12 new cases, Bolangir has 11 new cases. Ganjam and Jajpur both have reported 10 cases each. Of the 129 cases 119 cases are from various containment centers and 10 are local infections.
