Cuttack: Following the instructions of Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Sudam Marndi today made a surprise visit to a school and had his lunch at an Aahar kendra in Cuttack district.
During his visit to Banki Tahasil in the district, the Minister made a surprise visit to Mundu Muhan Nodal School and interacted with the students and teachers on various issues pertaining to the infrastructure and academic improvement of the school.
Marndi also accessed the quality of midday meals being served to the students.
Later on, the Minister went to an Aahar centre in same area and had lunch there. He also talked to the people about the quality of food.
Notably, the Minister’s visit came just a day after Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik advised his Council of Ministers to have their lunch in orphanage, government institutions, schools and Aahar centres during their official tour.
