Odisha Schools to Remain Closed in November

Bhubaneswar: The schools in Odisha will remain closed in November in view of possible outbreak of second wave of COVID-19 in the State.

This has been informed by School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash.

Although, no official order has been issued yet, the school will remain closed till further orders keeping in view of possible spread of the virus in winter, he said.

Earlier, the Odisha Government had decided to allow reopening of schools for classes IX to XII from November 16 and necessary guidelines and SOP’s are being prepared by the Mass and Education Department.
