Odisha: State Committee to Monitor BJD Membership Drive

Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday assigned a State Membership Drive committee for the success of the party’s membership drive campaign at the district level.

The seven-member Committee has been assigned to co-ordinate with District Observers, District Presidents, MPs, MLAs and constituency leaders regarding the membership drive.

The committee comprises Prasanna Acharya, Devi Prasad Mishra, Pramila Mallik, Pratap Keshari Deb, Sanjay Kumar Das Burma, Pradeep Kumar Panigrahi and Pranab Prakash Das.

They have been assigned the below districts.

Prasanna Acharya (State Vice-President): Bargarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Subarnapur, Bolangir
Devi Prasad Mishra (State Vice-President): Dhenkanal, Angul, Cuttack
Pratap Keshari Deb (State Spokesperson): Nuapada, Kalahandi, Boudh, Kondhamal
Pramila Mallik (State Vice-President): Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur
Sanjay Ku. Das Burma (State General Secretary) : Nabarangpur, Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Gajpati
Pradeep Ku. Panigrahi (State General Secretary): Ganjam, Khurda, Puri, Nayagarh
Pranab Prakash Das (State General Secretary): Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Kenojhar, Sundargarh

Notably, the BJD supremo had launched the membership drive on September 2 with an aim to further strengthen the party’s base in the State.
