Bhubaneswar: Odisha has conducted a whopping 40,711 Covid-19 tests in the last 24 hours in the State, informed, RMRC Director Sanghamitra Pati today.
Giving detail, she said, out of 40,711 tests conduced in last 24 hours, 7,077 test were Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), 33,439 antigen tests, and 195 are TrueNAT tests.
Brief media, she said, the State government has gradually increasing the Covid-19 testing the last four days and the same may go up to 50,000 per day in next one week.
She further said that as more and more number of testing are being conducted, more positive cases may come up in the State.
