Bhubaneswar: The Regional Centre of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued thunderstorm alert for several districts of Odisha in the next 24 hours.
“Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Bhadrak and Balasore”, the IMD said.
It said that light rain/ thunderstorm is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Dhenkanal, Angul, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Kandhamal and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
Temperature Forecast: No large change in maximum temperature (day temperature) during the next 2 days and slight fall by about 2 degree Celsius in subsequent 2 days over the districts of Odisha.
