Odisha Tops in Country in Terms of Cutting Vaccine Wastage

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has topped in the country in terms of reducing vaccine wastage by prudently using the extra dose available in each vial as wastage.

The State is making all possible efforts to keep the vaccine wastage to a minimum level.

As per reports, Odisha has so far saved 12.2 lakh doses of COVID-19 vaccine, recording -5.5 per cent misuse.
In other words, the State administered 105 doses and saved five for every 100 doses allotted.

Odisha has inoculated 2.45 crore doses of vaccine till Wednesday including 12.2 lakh saved doses, reported added.
