Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance sleuths today apprehended Harihar Swain, Forester, Sindhekela Beat under Bangomunda Forest Range, Bolangir while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs.1,00,300/- from laborers working under different projects of Forest Department. In this connection, Sambalpur Vigilance P.S. Case No.19 dt.09.05.2022 U/s 7 (b) P.C. (Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered. Raids are being conducted at various places in this connection. The Vigilance also recovered cash of Rs 1 lakh 72 thousand from his residence.
