Odisha: World Cup Cricket Betting Racket Busted in Rourkela, 2 Arrested

Rourkela: A 2019 Cricket World Cup betting racket has been busted and two persons have been arrested here, police said.

Acting on a tip-off, the Plant Site police raided a house at Janta Niwas lane here late last night and seized Rs 31 lakh.

Around 17 mobile phones and calculators were also seized during the raid, sources said.

Meanwhile, the police team is searching other persons involved in the racket, sources said.
