Tokyo: India’s Mirabai Chanu has become the first medal winner for the country at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. She won the silver medal in the Weightlifting Women’s 49kg category. This is India’s first ever silver medal in Olympics in the womens weightlifting.
She lifted total 202 kgs in her three attempts to win the Silver medal. While China won the gold medal, Indonesia lifted the Bronze medal.
